VISION

  1. Bridge the medical and educational communities with respect to identification, intervention, and advocacy for childhood literacy challenges.

  2. Provide comprehensive diagnostic reading evaluations for children with learning challenges.

  3. Promote awareness, advocacy, and educational support for children with specific learning struggles such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.

  4. Equip parents and teachers to develop and implement successful strategies that will help children with learning struggles.

 

  

AGC's free-standing learning center will help those with learning differences and literacy struggles in a variety of ways:

 

  • Accurately diagnose Specific Learning Disorders including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia

  • Meet the educational needs of dyslexic students and their families

  • Instruct educators and parents on the neurological-based strategies proven to be successful for home or classroom use

  • To provide easily accessible and affordable educational events for parents and/or educators

  • To increase instructional knowledge resulting in better applications of intervention for struggling learners

  • To empower caregivers, parents, and educators with resources and support structure needed to successfully help their students

  • To provide a bridge of knowledge and referral pathway between medical and educational professionals to early and accurately diagnose specific learning challenges
